Message from a PoK Kashmiri to Markandey Katju and his one line reply
"I have never ever seen any civilian being mistreated/even stopped by any army man in Kashmir."
Message from Muhammad Ghias Ismat Hashmi:
“Sir I am from Azad Kashmir (PoK for you).
I do agree on many stances that you share regarding oral Talaq and Burqah. They need to be reinterpreted as per needs of today.
Today I saw your post on Kashmir (Indian Kashmir) there you used a term of Pakistani boots on necks of Kashmiris instead of Indian ones if they get Azadi and accede with Pakistan. But sir here I want to tell you that in my lifetime I have never ever seen any civilian being mistreated/even stopped by any army man in Kashmir. There is police and they do work as Kashmir or Punjab Sindh and other provinces of Pakistan does.
Your prediction is misplaced sir.
And you have my permission to share this message.”
Markandey Katju's reply: Just start an agitation for azadi in POK and see the result.
