Narendra Modi is 'one man cabinet', ask Rajnath and Gadkari: Congress

Even before the new ministers in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Cabinet took oath on Sunday, the Congress was quick not to leave the opportunity to take dig at it.

New Delhi: Even before the new ministers in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's Cabinet took oath on Sunday, the Congress was quick not to leave the opportunity to take dig at it.

Taking potshot at Modi's Cabinet expansion, Congress leader Digvijay Singh took to Twitter and said that Modi doesn't require a cabinet, he is one man cabinet.

Another Congress leader PC Chacko said that cabinet expansion means that Modi government has just started working as many important portfolios were under additional charge.

“Better late than never, we wish them well,” Chacko told ANI.

Modi's first Cabinet expansion held today, a first major revamp exercise since he assumed office on May 26.

Modi's Cabinet now includes 21 ministers where former Goa chief minister Manohar Parrikar has been given the charge of Defence Ministry.
