New Delhi: After 'Acche Din', it's time to `smile`. In a bid to mark two years of the Bharatiya Janata Party-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government, the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting will on May 26 launch an eight-hour talk show ‘Zara Muskura Do’ to showcase the government’s success stories.
According to The Indian Express, the main panel discussion will take place before an audience at India Gate. It will be telecast live across the country and a hub each will be interlinked from Haryana, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Maharashtra and Meghalaya, reported the daily.
The show will highlight Narendra Modi government’s flagship programmes like Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, Direct Benefit Transfer of LPG, One Rank One Pension and Jan Dhan.
Not only this, short documentaries will also be played to show stories depicting the success of campaigns such as Swachh Bharat, Digital India and Rural Electrification. The daily reported that the moderator is likely to be Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan.
The show is planned to be mounted through Doordarshan.
