Amethi: Union HRD Minister Smriti Irani on Sunday paid a visit to Amethi (Congress vice-president and MP Rahul Gandhi's Lok Sabha constituency) and met the villagers of Makdumpur.

What all she found out?

Smriti Irani found out that Amethi's Makdumpur village doesn’t have even a Panchayat Ghar!

Taking to Twitter, she said, "Interacted with Pradhan of Makhdumpur village Bhagyawatiji & learnt that village doesn’t have Panchayat Ghar #Amethi (sic)." 

Irani promised to built panchayat ghar, public toilet

Smriti Irani has promised that soon people of Makhdumpur will have Panchayat Ghar and public toilet for women and children.

Amethi people keenly listened to PM Modi's 'Gram Uday se Bharat Uday'

During her visit, Irani also tweeted pictures of people of Amethi keenly listening to PM Narendra Modi's address on 'Gram Uday se Bharat Uday Campaign'.

Smriti Irani had unsuccessfully contested against Rahul Gandhi from Amethi in 2014 Lok Sabha elections.
