New Delhi: In a wisecrack remark apparently aimed at ex-IPS officer Kiran Bedi who on Thursday officially joined the BJP, National Conference leader Omar Abdullah offered a piece of advice to the politicians and famous persons to delete their earlier posts on Facebook and Twitter, before switching alliances and parties.

Omar's quip was evidently aimed at Kiran Bedi's earlier Twitter posts critical of PM Narendra Modi, which many were retweeting on a day when Bedi joined the BJP and eulogised Modi's inspirational leadership.

The tweet above was posted by Bedi in March 2013, when she was with Team Anna and claimed being apolitical.

Congress leader Digvijay Singh, too didn't spare this chance to take a dig at “Bedi's U t-turn” and questioning if it was a “genuine change of heart”.

Even Aam Aadmi Party expressed surprise and shock on Bedi joining the BJP, highlighting sarcastically, how she once vowed to remain "apolitical".
