Hyderabad: Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Environment, Forest and Climate Change Prakash Javadekar on Sunday termed Prime Minister Modi as a 'man with a mission', adding that he wants to change the 'face' of the country.
"Our Prime Minister is a man with a mission. He wants to change the face of the country. He wants development for the poor and the farmers of the nation," Javadekar said here.
The minister further took on the Congress on the inflation and black money issues.
"Everyone suffered due to rising prices under the Congress government. Former prime minister Manmohan Singh failed to bring inflation under control. We will also bring black money to the nation. What the Congress government was unable to do in three years, we did in three days - we formed a SIT on the black money issue," Javadekar said.
"The SIT is currently preparing cases, and when they go to court, you shall hear about them," he added.
Last month, Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley had proposed the introduction of a bill for a new law in order to curb black money stashed abroad.
