PM Narendra Modi greets people of Bhutan on national day

Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted the people of Bhutan on their national day on Wednesday.

Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted the people of Bhutan on their national day on Wednesday.

PM posted on the micro-blogging site Twitter - “On their National Day, I convey my greetings to the people of Bhutan and extend my best wishes for the development journey of Bhutan.”

In another post he wrote - “We cherish our long-standing friendship with Bhutan. Experienced the warm nature of people of Bhutan during my visit.”

After Modi became PM of India in May this year, Bhutan was the first country that he visited.
