PM Narendra Modi, President Pranab Mukherjee condemn France magazine attack

Condemning the terror attack on France's satirical magazine office in Paris, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday offered condolences to those who have lost their lives.

New Delhi: Condemning the terror attack on France's satirical magazine office in Paris, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday offered condolences to those who have lost their lives.

PM Modi took to Twitter and wrote that the attack in Paris is condemnable and despicable. He further added that India's solidarity is with the people of France.

Meanwhile, President Pranab Mukherjee also Tweeted that terror and violence have no place in any corner of the world, adding that world community must unite to root out terrorism.

Many people were killed today when gunmen armed with Kalashnikovs and a rocket-launcher opened fire in the offices of French satirical weekly Charlie Hebdo that once courted controversy over its portrayal of the Prophet Mohammed.
