Pilibhit: Congress president Sonia Gandhi has received a rare praise!

Union Cabinet Minister for Women and Child Development Maneka Gandhi on Sunday cited Sonia Gandhi's example on how to curb corruption and discourage nepotism, according to a report in CNN-News18.

Maneka Gandhi narrated an incident when one of the Sonia Gandhi's relatives (who had opened up a shop) used to take advantage of her name.

"Sonia Gandhi put out advertisements in newspapers asking people not to go to that person for any help," Maneka Gandhi said.

"I am asking you to do a similar thing," the BJP MP said at a meeting here.

Maneka Gandhi represents Pilibhit Lok Sabha constituency. She is Sonia's estranged sister-in-law.
