Hyderabad: Interested candidates can now apply for the Master of Technology (M.Tech) program in Computational Engineering with a specialization in core branch in Computer Science and Engineering / Electronics and Communication Engineering, at the Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT), Hyderabad.
The RGUKT is making online application forms available beginning Saturday (August 22).
The University will receive online applications and the hard copy till September 7.
Candidates wishing to apply for the course must have cleared GATE (2014/2015) or PGECET 2015. Also, they should have completed B.Tech /B.E with 60 percent or above marks with a core branch such as Computer Science and Engineering / Electronics and Communication Engineering.
SC/ST candidates can seek relaxation in marks.
As regards the selection criteria, candidates' GATE (2014/2015) or PGECET 2015 scores will be considered. An interview with shortlisted candidates will follow.
While GATE / PGECET marks wil have 80% weightage, 20% marks will be for the interview.
It may be noted that GATE candidates will be given priority over PGECET qualified candidates.
Application fee to apply for the course is Rs 350 for general candidates and Rs 300 for SC/ST candidates.
Fee can be paid through a Demand Draft drawn in favour of 'The Director, RGUKT(M.Tech Programme) Basar' payable at Basar.
Candidates are required to apply online for the admission. The printout of the application form along with all other relevant documents should be sent to 'The Administrative Officer, RGUKT - Basar campus, Mudhole Mandal, Adilabad District, Telangana State – 504107' latest by September 7.
