Patna: Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) is mulling to register a case of forgery against Prime Minister Narendra Modi for allegedly committing breach of trust with people of Bihar by not allocating the promised fund of Rs 1.25 lakh crore.

Confirming the reports, a top RJD leader said that the party is deciding to file a complaint against PM Modi for committing fraud with Bihar people in the name of special package. During the 2015 Bihar Assembly polls, the Prime Minister promised to allocate Rs 1.35 lakh crore for the development of Bihar. In addition, Rs 40,000 crore were promised to be sanctioned for completion of ongoing projects in the state. However, Modi is now backtracking from allocating full amount he promised under the name of development and progress.

While campaigning for Bihar Assembly polls in August 2015, Modi hold a rally in Arrah and announced an unprecedented package of Rs 1.25 lakh crore for the development of the state, bringing the RJD-JDU-Congress combine to boil.
