New Delhi: Police has registered a case in the suicide of Sankalp Anand, son of film lyricist Santosh Anand, as per news reports on Saturday.

The names of 38 people have been mentioned in the FIR.

Sankalp (38) and his wife (34) had committed suicide by jumping in front of train from Agra to Delhi near Kosi kalan in Mathura on Wednesday.

He also left behind a 10-page hand-written suicide letter in his car.

In the note, Sankalp, who was a lecturer at a government institute in Delhi, wrote that they were taking the extreme step due to financial problems, police said.
