Ghaziabad: Devendra, the man who kidnapped Snapdeal woman executive Dipti Sarna from a Metro station in Ghaziabad, is a Bollywood-inspired "psychopath", said police.

The story of Devendra will give one goosebumps.

The investigation revealed that the prime accused was highly inspired by Bollywood movie Darr, in which Shah Rukh Khan's character gets obsessed with a woman.

Not just this, Devendra, who is involved in a number of crimes earlier too, used to read Adolf Hitler's 'Mein Kampf' during the time he spent in jail and was inspired by the relationship between Hitler and Eva Braun.

He also took inspiration from the life and struggle of Mongolian warrior Genghis Khan.

The accused tried to play the 'hero' during the whole kidnapping drama to win over Dipti. But he was soon exposed as the main accused by the police.

He, along with four others, was arrested on Mondai in connection with the mysterious abduction of Dipti Sarna.
