New Delhi: Politicians across the nation are celebrating the bond between brothers and sisters on Raksha Bandhan festival on Saturday.
External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj celebrated the day by tying rakhi to Union Minister M Venkaiah Naidu in the national capital.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi took to Twitter today to greet the nation on the occassion.
He celebrated the festival with children and several manual scavengers tying him rakhi and presenting ones made by widows from Vrindavan and Varanasi.

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar celebrated Raksha Bandhan festival with children and tied rakhi to a tree.
Meanwhile, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has left for Haridwar to celebrate the day with his sister.
