New Delhi: Known for his criticism of Pakistan's double standards, author and columnist Tarek Fatah on Friday trolled Congress leader Meem Afzal when the latter accused him of being disloyal towards his own country.

Taking to Twitter, Afzal had written, “Tarek Fateh, a Canadian Pakistani Muslim is not loyal to his own country, but professing more loyalty to India.”

In response, Fatah tweeted something that directly hit the Congress leadership.

“I was born in Sindh on the Indus. My parents, grandparents and ancestors all born in India. Yet Meem Afzal says I'm not Indian, but Sonia is.”
