Three OSDs to Union ministers, PS to Suresh Prabhu appointed

Officers on Special Duty (OSDs) to three union ministers including Manohar Parrikar, and Private Secretary (PS) to Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu have been appointed by the government.

New Delhi: Officers on Special Duty (OSDs) to three union ministers including Manohar Parrikar, and Private Secretary (PS) to Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu have been appointed by the government.

Upendra Joshi, a non-government official, has been appointed PS to Defence Minister Parrikar. Pradeep Kumar Thakur, an officer of Himachal Pradesh administrative service, has been appointed OSD to Health and Family Welfare JP Nadda.

DPS Rajesh has been appointed OSD to Minister of State for Human Resource Development Upendra Kushwaha, an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT).

Sanjeev Kumar, a 2003 batch IAS officer of Maharashtra cadre, has been appointed private secretary to Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu. He has been appointed for a period of five years or on co-terminus basis with the minister's tenure, it said.
