Lakhs appear for UPSC civil services (Preliminary) exam 2015

Lakhs of Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) aspirants appeared for the civil services preliminary exam which will be held in 71 centres over 21,000 venues on Sunday.

New Delhi: Lakhs of Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) aspirants appeared for the civil services preliminary exam which will be held in 71 centres over 21,000 venues on Sunday.

Over nine lakh candidates have applied to appear for the preliminary exams.

The examination is being held in two sessions. While Paper I will be held between 9:30 am-11:30 am, aspirants will appear for Paper II from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm.

This year, 12 new centres which have been set up in several areas including those in Ludhiana, Ajmer, Rajkot, Indore, Agra, Gaya and Siliguri.
