New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party leader Varun Gandhi on Wednesday denied what he termed as 'baseless allegations' by former IPL chairman Lalit Modi.
As per sources, Varun is understood to have said that Modi is trying to divert attention from himself and drag the names of senior unnecessarily into disrepute.
Earlier, Lalit Modi claimed that he was on personal terms with yet another politician, when he alleged that Varun had visited him in London.
"Please clarify @varungandhi80 did u or did u not come to my house in london. Whilst staying at the Ritz hotel in lon a few years ago," he had tweeted.
