A video of a man allegedly harassing a woman on an airplane has gone viral. In a YouTube video, the victim, who is unidentified, recorded a middle-aged man, who had harassed her.



Delhi: A video of a man allegedly harassing a woman on an airplane has gone viral. In a YouTube video, the victim, who is unidentified, recorded a middle-aged man, who had harassed her.

In the video she is heard scolding him and screaming at him for alleged misbehaviour.

The incident allegedly took place on January 27 on an Indigo flight which was flying from Bhubaneswar to Mumbai.

The women has alleged that the man had tried to touch her apparently through the gaps that are between the seats.

The women is also heard saying in the video that the man repeated the act again.

Later she took him on and asked him as to whether he thought he would get away with it.

At the same time she asked him whether he didn't have any woman in his house.

The man is seen hiding his face in the video and then later repeatedly apologising to the woman.

He also says that he made a mistake.

Meanwhile, the airlines, in an official statement did acknowledge that an unruly behaviour was reported and that the crew on board had immediately alerted the captain-in-command who had then alerted the CISF staff. The statement also says that an FIR was lodged in a local police station in Bhubaneswar and that the airline was cooperating with the investigating agencies.

The man was reportedly taken into custody and then later granted bail.
