Nashik: In an excellent display of valour, a policeman jumped off a 20-feet high bridge to save a man during the ongoing Simhastha Kumbh Mela in Nashik-Trimbakeshwar.

Manoj Barahate was on duty when he saw a man jumping off a bridge into the waters of the River Godavari in an attempt to end his life.

Barahate wasted no time and immediately jumped into the river to save the man’s life.

With the ease in restrictions, huge crowds of tourists and pilgrims are descending on the city from surrounding districts as well as other parts of India and abroad.
