New Delhi: In a major development in water tanker scam, Anti-Corruption Bureau has issued notice to former Delhi CM Sheila Dikshit.

"We've issued notice to Sheila Dikshit​ for questioning on 26th August in connection with water tanker scam case," ACB chief MK Meena said.

Reacting to the development, Sheila Dikshit​ said, "I had received a letter from ACB saying I'll be summoned in August. I haven't received any information on specific date as yet."

"Once I receive information, I will definitely abide by it (ACB summons)," former Delhi CM Sheila Dikshit added.

Earlier on Monday, Delhi Water Minister Kapil Mishra launched a scathing attack against opposition over water tanker scam and said that he would expose the nexus between ACB chief M K Meena, Lt Governor Najeeb Jung and former chief minister Sheila Dikshit within a week.

Mishra said he would expose the nexus between Meena, Jung and Dikshit with documents that would explain why she was not being arrested.
