New Delhi: In a major development in water tanker scam, Anti-Corruption Bureau has issued notice to former Delhi CM Sheila Dikshit.
"We've issued notice to Sheila Dikshit for questioning on 26th August in connection with water tanker scam case," ACB chief MK Meena said.
Reacting to the development, Sheila Dikshit said, "I had received a letter from ACB saying I'll be summoned in August. I haven't received any information on specific date as yet."
"Once I receive information, I will definitely abide by it (ACB summons)," former Delhi CM Sheila Dikshit added.
Earlier on Monday, Delhi Water Minister Kapil Mishra launched a scathing attack against opposition over water tanker scam and said that he would expose the nexus between ACB chief M K Meena, Lt Governor Najeeb Jung and former chief minister Sheila Dikshit within a week.
Mishra said he would expose the nexus between Meena, Jung and Dikshit with documents that would explain why she was not being arrested.
