New Delhi: On the first anniversary of the Narendra Modi-led NDA government at the Centre, the Youth Congress carried out a unique protest in the national capital on Tuesday.
To protest against the Modi government on completing one year in office, Youth Congress leaders took out a procession dubbed 'Modi baraat' on the roads of Delhi.
While the Delhi Police didn't let the 'Modi baraat' cover a long distance and took several protesters under detention, the protest did grab eyeballs and headlines.
Narendra Modi was sworn in as prime minister on May 26 last year after the BJP won simple majority in last year's Lok Sabha elections.
