New Delhi: Former IPS officer-turned-social activist Kiren Bedi on Monday said that following the incident of eve-teasing in a public bus in Rohtak, it is evident that women are not willing to tolerate what she termed as 'nonsense' anymore.

"Women are picking up courage. They are retaliating and it is quite evident that they are not willing to take this nonsense anymore," Bedi said to the media.

An amateur video footage of Friday's incident in the bus revealed the girls being pushed by alleged eve-teasers after they protested against the obscene language and gestures used against them. The two sisters fought back, even as the co-passengers remained mute spectators.

Three of the accused in the incident have been arrested.
