Jammu: The security forces on Tuesday killed three dreaded terrorists belonging to militant outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) after a fierce gunbattle in the Pulwama district of south Kashmir.
Top JeM commander Altaf Rather is among those who have been killed in the encounter.
The JeM terrorists were holed up in a house in Pulwama district, as per reports.
Security forces had launched a massive search operation in the area late Monday night to flush out militants believed to be hiding there. The operation was halted for several hours during the night, however, it resumed in the wee hours today.
