Anna's remarks on Kashmir a moral bankruptcy: JKLF

Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front, headed by Mohammad Yasin Malik, today said activist Anna Hazare's remarks on Kashmir is the "worst example of intellectual impropriety and moral bankruptcy".

"Hazare’s statement (that Kashmir is an integral part of India) is the worst example of intellectual impropriety and moral bankruptcy," Malik said in a statement here.

Attacking Hazare, he said "those who brand themselves as an image of Gandhiji are actually trying to mislead the world."

"Hazare visited Kashmir in 1998 and even came to my residence. He spoke of human rights violations and advocated restoration of political rights of the people. His latest statement on Kashmir has surprised everyone," Malik said.

The separatist leader accused Hazare of being aligned with the RSS. "He is still wearing the RSS nicker (shorts) under the Khadi of Gandhiji."

Hazare, reacting to a statement of his team member and noted Supreme Court lawyer Prashant Bhushan, said Kashmir is an intergal part of the country.

Bhushan had recently said a plebsicite could be an option for settling the Kashmir issue, remarks for which he was attacked by some youth in his chambers.

Kashmir is integral part of India. There is no question about it. The Govt policies are responsible for this state of affairs. Artcle 370 should be abolished. Peole from other state should be allowed to buy land property there. And POK should be freed from illegal possession. that is the only solution.

Where was your sense of morality Mr Malik when innoccent Hindu men women and children were being butchered? Where did your sense of morality went when the terrorists in Kashmir were raping and burning the private parts of Kashmiri Hindu women? If Anna is morally bankrupt I am also morally bankrupt and the whole nation is morally bankrupt, Kashmir belongs to India and it shall remain so forever. If anything, how about the so called Azaad Kashmir-I want it back!

Brother, shatru. I am surprised to know that Hindu women and children were butchered, private parts of Kashmiri Pandit women were raped and burned in Kashmir. I am a Kashmiri and was about 17 years of age when millitancy started in Kashmir. Do not become a prey to propaganda. Mr. Yasin is not an angel nor is Mr. Anna. But the problem is that every conscious man should speak his conscience, as by Prashant Bhushan. Mr. Hazarre is an illiterate person and does not know the legal and international dimension of Prashants remark on Kashmir. Although, I respect Mr. Anna Hazarre for being a simple, famous and emotional Indian.

Kashmiri People Saved their life and career and enjoing their life in other cities.Local Muslims were stabed in the Back by these Pandits and are utterring Poison against Muslims just to get more Aid Money and Reservations. Kashmiri Hindus should thank their Stars that Kashmiri Muslims are not like Gujrati Hindus were thousans of Muslims were killed by your Fanatic Hindu Brothrens just in few days.Kashmiri Pandits are trying to Spit on the sky and that is comming directly on their face.
