Jammu: A combing operation has been launched by the Army and J&K police to track down a group of three militants who were reportedly operating out of Rajouri district in the state.

Acting on intelligence inputs, troops of 14 Rashtriya Rifles and Special Operation Group (SOG) of J&K police launched a search and cordon operation late Monday night, an Army officer said.

"The search is going on and a full cordon has been laid around the area. Till now there has been no contact with militants," he said.

According to the inputs, two to three suspected militants were present in Daryal forest belt of Bhudal area in the district.
