Jammu: Following intelligence reports about the use of combat dresses by militants in the state, authorities on Friday imposed a two-month ban on unauthorised procurement, storage, sale and stitching of the dresses in Jammu.
District Magistrate, Jammu MK Dwivedi imposed the ban after inputs from security agencies said the combat dresses, whose production or procurement is not regulated by the state, could pass on into the hands of anti-national elements, a defence spokesman said.
