Jammu: BJP on Wednesday held Jammu-based Congress ministers in the Jammu and Kashmir cabinet responsible for the state government`s "discriminatory attitude" towards the region
"Congress ministers hailing from Jammu have repeatedly betrayed people of the region for their personal benefits," Jammu BJP district president Rajesh Gupta told party workers here.
BJP members held protest and burnt the effigy of Congress ministers to express their annoyance over the "discrimination" with the Jammu region.
Gupta alleged the ruling NC-Congress gives preferential treatment to Kashmir region while deciding development schemes.
"It is shocking that all Jammu-based Congress ministers have remained silent on these issues for the past three years," he said.
