Jammu: Terming as "political drama" the resignation of Congress minister Sham Lal Sharma, Jammu and Kashmir BJP chief on Monday said Congress has lost its ground in the state.
"It is just a political drama. If the Congress leader was concerned about the discrimination faced by Jammu region, why did he continue in the government for six years and resign just ahead of elections?
"Congress stand exposed as they have lost its ground in the state," Sharma told reporters here.
"People of the state are fed up with misgovernance of Congress, National Conference and PDP and now they want to give BJP a chance. The people of Jammu and Kashmir want a BJP government in the state," he added.
