Jammu: Top BJP leaders, including LK Advani
would meet here from December 23 at a two-day session to
discuss Kashmir situation among other issues facing the
country, party general secretary Jagat Prakash Nadda said here on Monday.
"The party would present a paper on the first day of the
session about J and K situation and it would be thoroughly
discussed to adopt a definite party line to be followed in
future," Nadda said.
About 70 senior party functionaries, including party
chief Nitin Gadkari, LK Advani, Sushma Swaraj, Arun Jaitely,
Shanta Kumar and Chief Ministers of BJP-run states are
attending the session, Nadda told reporters here.
Criticising UPA-led government for "unsettling the
settled issues" about Jammu and Kashmir, the BJP leader said
that the party would formulate a strategy to oppose the
government`s move throughout the country.
He said that his party was the only party which had taken
up J and K issue at the national level and shown solidarity
with it, and alleged some kind of conspiracy was going on to
divert Kashmir issue.
