Jammu: Asking the separatists to come
forward for dialogue, Union Health Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad
Saturday said the Centre has shown the "highest degree of
flexibility" in initiating the process.

"Government of India has shown too much flexibility
in initiating the dialogue process. The Centre has taken ten
steps, the Hurriyat should take at least one step in this
direction. How much more flexible do we need to be," Azad told
reporters here Saturday.

He said, "The Hurriyat should seize this opportunity
and come forward for talks."

Ruling out that the government is not complacent
towards Kashmir, he said that the Centre has taken lots of
initiative. "It has taken multipronged steps on economic and
political fronts," he said.

He said, the Centre has taken major steps in redressal
of the political aspect by appointing interlocutors on
Kashmir.

"Round Table Conferences were held by Prime Minister,
Five working groups were set up to address economic,
development, employment, state-central and political issues,"
he said.
