Jammu: The Congress on Sunday accused the BJP-PDP coalition partners of "exploiting the religious, regional and other factors for the sake of power"
"We accuse the present coalition partners of exploiting the religious, regional and other factors for the sake of coming to power. Congress always respected the urges and aspirations of regions and different sections of society in order to strengthen the bounds of unity and integrity of the state," J and K Congress chief G A Mir said while addressing public meeting at Haritar-Sangrama in North Kashmir today.
"Congress party won?t allow any sort of discriminatory treatment to any class of people based on religion, region or class in order to strengthen the bounds of harmony unity and integrity of the State", Mir said.
Mir cautioned the people against the dangerous politics of exploitation on the basis of religion, region or any other class which is bound to bring disunity amongst the people and pose threat to the integrity of the state.
JK PCC Chief said that Congress won?t allow any kind of discrimination against any section of the society or class by the present dispensation.
Congress Party has always worked about strengthening the people and never allowed anyone to weaken democratic institutions of the country or State, JK PCC Chief said.
