Srinagar: A CRPF jawan allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself inside his camp in Shopian district of Kashmir, police said on friday.
Constable Surender Kumar of 14 Battalion of CRPF shot himself with his service rifle last night inside the camp at Imam Sahib in Shopian town, the police said.
Police is trying to ascertain why the CRPF jawan took such an extreme step.
