Srinagar: Union Minister for New and
Renewable Energy Farooq Abdullah on Friday discussed issues
relating to socio-economic development in Jammu and Kashmir
with Governor NN Vohra here.
The meeting between Abdullah and Vohra at Raj Bhavan
lasted nearly an hour and they discussed several important
issues relating to the speedy socio-economic development of
the state, an official spokesman said.
Harnessing of new and renewable energy sources in the
state for meeting its short and long term clean energy
requirements also came up for discussion during the meeting,
he said.
