Police said, the Government Girls` Middle School at Muran
village, 35 kms from here, was set on fire by unidentified
people in the wee hours. Though fire tenders were engaged, the
building was completely destroyed.
Meanwhile, fire damaged an under-construction building of
Agro Industries at Mirpura-Dugpora on the city outskirts. The
cause of blaze was not known immediately, police said.
In another incident, a two-storied house was partially
damaged at Khanmoh in Pantha Chowk area of the city last
night. No one was injured in the fire, which was believed to
have been caused by short circuit, he said.
