Jammu: Hindu Shiv Sena chief Rajesh Kesari
on Sunday claimed that he was attacked by some unidentified
persons who threw "some material" that triggered fire in his
car.
"Some unidentified persons travelling in TATA Sumo
intercepted me at Exchange road, broke glass and threw some
material that triggered fire in the car," he told reporters
after he was discharged from hospital here.
Kesari, who was injured in the incident yesterday, said
he was saved by some people after the vehicle caught fire.
Jammu SSP Anand Jain had said yesterday that Kesari was
driving the car when fire erupted from engine and engulfed
it.
