Shopian (J&K): A Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist was apprehended by security forces in Jammu and Kashmir's Shopian district on Monday.

The militant was caught during a joint search operation of 62 Rashtriya Rife and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).

Following a tip-off, Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist Bilal Shekih was arrested from Chotipora village while planning an attack.

Sheikh is a resident of Aglar Zahanpora in Kashmir.

Two Chinese grendaes and incriminating material were seized from his possession, ANI reported.
