Srinagar: A huge cache of arms and ammunition, including 40 hand grenades and 45 kg of explosive material, were recovered from a militant hideout in north Kashmir`s Baramulla district on Friday.
Acting on a specific information, a team of police launched search operations near the Nigli nalla in Chandoosa area, 65 kms from here, and unearthed the cache of arms,
ammunition and explosives dumped there by the militants, official sources said.
Besides 40 hand grenades and 45 kg of explosive material, three AK 47 rifles along with 11 magazines and 306 ammunition rounds were recovered from the spot, they said.
