Three suspected militants were killed by the Indian Army after infiltration bid along the Line of Control (LoC) in Keran Sector was foiled, as per news report on Sunday.

Srinagar: Three suspected militants were killed by the Indian Army after infiltration bid along the Line of Control (LoC) in Keran Sector was foiled, as per news report on Sunday.

Huge cache of arms and ammunitions including three AK rifles, one UGBL, 12 magazines and 300 rounds and warlike stores have been recovered from the militants, ANI reported.

Repeated instances of ceasefire violations have been reported from the LoC.

On July 6, Pakistan violated ceasefire in Arnia and Nowgam regions of Jammu and Kashmir's RS Pura sector and Kupwara district, killing one BSF jawan.

On June 22, Pakistani Rangers had violated the ceasefire in the same RS Pura sector.
