Jammu: The Centre-appointed interlocutors
on Jammu and Kashmir need to address issues pertaining to
people in the border districts of Rajouri and Poonch, a front
representing residents of the area said on Saturday.
The interlocutors should address problems being faced
by people of Surankote, Mendhar, Thanamandi, Budhal,
Koteranka, Nowshera and Sunderbani, which have been worst-hit
by militancy, Rajouri-Poonch United Front (RPUF) Convenor
Vibodh Gupta told reporters here.
Claiming that RPUF is an umbrella organization of many
social, religious and political organizations of Rajouri and
Poonch to fight discrimination and injustice against people of
the two districts, he said constituents of the front are
meeting the interlocutors and putting before them the demands
of the people.
