J-K govt to buy 25 ambulances to attend accident cases

The J&K would soon procure 25 ambulances equipped with all life saving facilities to attend accidental cases particularly on National Highways.

Jammu: The Jammu and Kashmir would soon
procure 25 ambulances equipped with all life saving facilities
to attend accidental cases particularly on National Highways,
state Health minister Shyam Lal Sharma said Sunday.

These ambulances will be placed an the National
Highways and other accident prone areas in the distance of 30
km, he said after inaugurating a blood donation camp.

Hundreds of volunteers of Sant Nirankari Mission (SNM
donated blood for the needy in the camp organised in
collaboration with Regional Red Cross (Jammu) and State
health Department.
