Jammu: Over 13 shops were badly damaged in
fire triggered by crackers in Jammu and Akhnoor belt of
Jammu and Kashmir on Diwali night.
The fire, which started from a shop, spread in the market
gutting several other establishments in Parade belt of Jammu
city, police said today.
By the time fire tenders were pressed into service, ten
shops were totally damaged, police said.
In a similar incident, three shops were burnt in Akhnoor
area of Jammu.
