Jammu and Kashmir floods: Helpline Numbers

The Ministry of Home Affairs has set up a control room in Jammu and Kashmir to actively monitor and coordinate the rescue and relief operations in the state which is reeling under one of the worst floods in almost six decades.

Jammu: The Ministry of Home Affairs has set up a control room in Jammu and Kashmir to actively monitor and coordinate the rescue and relief operations in the state which is reeling under one of the worst floods in almost six decades.

The MHA control room numbers for help and assistance in J&K are as follows: 011- 23093054, 23092763, 23092923, 23092885, 23093566, 23093563.

A flood control room has also been set up in New Delhi in J&K House. The number are: (011)-24611210 and 24611108, Srinagar-0194-2452138 and Jammu-0191-2560401.

A NDRF control room at Delhi is also operational: 011-26107953 and mobile 09711077372 and Email ndrfhq@nic.in for J&K relief and rescue.

Meanwhile a team of officials headed by JS (Disaster Management) has been instructed to make its base at Srinagar and monitor rescue and relief in J&K.
