Jammu: Four persons were killed and as many others injured on Saturday when a jeep fell into a gorge in Jammu and Kashmir's Kishtwar district, police said.
The vehicle, en route to Drabshalla from Sarore, skidded off the road and fell into a gorge near Drabshalla, about 200 km from here, Kishtwar SSP BS Tuti said.
Four people died on the spot and as many others were injured in the accident, he said, adding that a rescue operation has been launched to extricate the dead bodies and injured from the site.
