J&K BJP chief escapes unhurt in road mishap

Jammu: Jammu and Kashmir BJP president
Shamsher Singh Manhas, along with three party functionaries,
escaped unhurt in a road mishap when a vehicle carrying them
collided with a security vehicle at Nandi, 20km from here,

The vehicle carrying Manhas and other BJP leaders was
badly damaged without causing any injuries to them when they
were on way from Jammu to attend some party function in
Udhampur town.

In another mishap, five policemen in an escort vehicle
of Chaman Lal Gupta, leader of BJP legislature party, were
injured when the vehicle rolled down near Domail, about 29km
from here, on Jammu-Udhampur highway this afternoon.
