Jammu: Accusing the UPA government of
failing to check inflation, Jammu and Kashmir unit of BJP
today said the party would submit a memorandum against price
rise signed by three lakh citizens to the President in New
Delhi.

"We would submit three lakh protest signatures over price
rise to President Pratibha Patil in New Delhi. It is to show
protest and public outcry over the issue," state BJP president
Shamsher Singh Manhas told reporters here.

It is an expression of protest against the price rise
under UPA rule and failure of UPA government to check it, he
said, adding that the signatures were collected by BJP workers
during the state-wide signature campaign held by the party in
the past six month.
