Jammu: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar
Abdullah on Sunday conveyed warm wishes to the people of the
state, especially the Sikh community, on the occasion of Guru
Nanak Dev's Birthday.
In his greetings, the Chief Minister described Guru
Nanak Dev as an epitome of peace and tolerance who dedicated
his life to secure justice, equality and harmony in society.
Praying for peace and prosperity in the State and the
well-being of the people, the Chief Minister said he hoped
that the day will further cement the bonds of love, amity and
brotherhood between various sections of society.
