Srinagar: Deputy Chairman of the Jammu and
Kashmir Legislative Council Arvinder Singh Mickey on Friday
stepped down after completing his term.
Mickey, who was acting chairman of the Council following
retirement of Ghulam Nabi Lone three years ago, was given a
farewell last evening in the legislative complex here.
Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Mickey recalled the ability
shown by Mickey as the acting chairman of the Legislative
Council.
Mickey expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister and other
dignitaries saying that he would continue to work for the
cause of people and the state.
