Jammu: The Jammu Development Authority will
construct townships and colonies on modern lines in the city
for the people, including legislators and media persons.
"The JDA will develop new housing projects at Muthi,
Nagrota and Kot Jagir," Deputy Chief Minister Tara Chand said
at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the urban body.
The JDA has identified a five-acre land on Gajansoo road
for the construction of a colony for media persons, he said.
For establishing a colony for legislators, the JDA has
identified land at Sidhra.
