Kashmiri migrants get flats in Jagti township

The Jammu and Kashmir government has alloted 3,654 two-room flats to Kashmiri Migrants in Jagti Township here.

Jammu: The Jammu and Kashmir government has
alloted 3,654 two-room flats to Kashmiri Migrants in Jagti Township here.

Out of the total number of 4,224 flats, as many as 3,654
flats have been completed and allotted to the migrant families
at Jagti Township, officials of the Relief and Rehabilitation
department said here.

The remaining 570 flats are almost complete and will be
alloted soon, they said.

The township developed to rehabilitate Kashmiri Migrants
under the Prime Minister`s Rehabilitation and Return Package
for the Kashmiri Migrants also boasts of other basic
facilities like internal roads, educational and health
institutions, community halls, parks, shops and drainage.

The minor works in the remaining flats along with the
allied works will be completed by February and handed over to
the authorities for allotment, they said.
