Jammu: The Jammu and Kashmir government has alloted 3,654 two-room flats to Kashmiri Migrants in Jagti Township here.

Out of the total number of 4,224 flats, as many as 3,654 flats have been completed and allotted to the migrant families at Jagti Township, officials of the Relief and Rehabilitation department said here.

The remaining 570 flats are almost complete and will be alloted soon, they said.

The township developed to rehabilitate Kashmiri Migrants under the Prime Minister's Rehabilitation and Return Package for the Kashmiri Migrants also boasts of other basic facilities like internal roads, educational and health institutions, community halls, parks, shops and drainage.

The minor works in the remaining flats along with the allied works will be completed by February and handed over to the authorities for allotment, they said.
